Wasn’t the weather amazing over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend? How lucky are we! Went for a wander down Brunswick Street, Fitzroy and browsed around the eclectic mix of shops. I love beautiful stationery, so naturally Zetta Florence is a favourite stop. Followed that with a wonderful lunch at the vibey Little Creatures – a great place for people watching!

When I visit vibey places like that, I think how these days ceremonies can be held just about anywhere. If you think about places you love to visit and where you really dig the atmosphere, there is nothing stopping you from asking about booking a group of tables for a fun reception or a room off the main dining area to say your vows in front of your most cherished friends and family. Let your imagination run wild!

Speaking of a unique ceremony – what about photography? I came across this website the other day: www.ryleehitchnerblog.com/category/weddings. She’s American and her photography really takes my breath away. Instead of the standard usual photography poses, let yourself be inspired by people who do things a little differently!

Have you had a ceremony in an unusual place or had unique photos taken? I would love to hear your creative ideas!
